Are you curious to see what coding is all about? In this engaging class, we will dive into the fundamentals of programming using Scratch, an interactive and user-friendly platform. Students will use their creativity and problem solving skills as they learn to design and code their own interactive animations and/or stories. By the end of the class, each participant will have developed their own unique project to showcase their newfound skills. No prior coding experience is necessary—just a desire to learn!

A New Adventure Every Weekend
MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 4th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom. Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting. While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
