Admitted Students of Your Extraordinary Saturday
This page provides important details for students who have been admitted to the YES program. Please read the information carefully so you are prepared to make the most of your MITY experience.
8:45 AM - 9:00 AM: Check-In
9:00 AM – 10:20 AM: First Class
10:20 AM – 10:40 AM: Snack Break and Social Time
10:40 AM – 12:00 PM: Second Class
Arrival & Departure Procedures
Students should arrive at 8:45 AM with an adult. You will be given directions to a check-in location. If you have more than one student attending the program, please check in the oldest child first. Students will be dismissed to their classroom with their class intern at 9:00 AM.
A parent/guardian should pick up their child at 12:00 PM in the check-in location. It is important that you pick up your child at noon. Thank you.
What To Bring
Students should bring a water bottle labeled with their name and a nut-free snack for break time. Juice boxes are available for 25 cents. Students do not need to bring any supplies to class. (You may be contacted if a teacher needs something such as a shoe box or milk carton from home.)
Code of Conduct
All admitted students must read and agree to abide by the MITY Code of Conduct [PDF] during their time in the program.
All admitted students must submit a completed health form one week prior to the start of the session or they will not be allowed to attend class. This form must be updated annually. Your typed name is your signature.
Last Day of the Session
Parents and guardians are invited to visit the last 30 minutes of each class (9:50 AM – 10:20 AM and 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM) on the third Saturday of the program.
