This summer class is all about drawing! Students will start a drawing sketchbook that they can continue working in the rest of the summer. Have you ever drawn with charcoal? Learn many fun drawing techniques using charcoal, oil pastels, markers and more. Did you know that Leonardo DaVinci was a skilled drawer? We will look at some of his fascinating drawings while we learn how to draw portraits too! We’ll also learn about gesture drawings, contour drawings, realistic drawings and much more.

MITY’s Online ExplorSchool provides bright students with the opportunity to explore a topic of interest with similarly motivated peers. The goal is to keep students challenged and engaged as they build, create, and solve real world problems. Each class features a variety of activities that take students away from a screen as they use their hands to design and construct. Importantly, students also have opportunities to socialize with their peers through non-academic activities.
