Join us as we learn about diverse cultures through the exploration of different types of stories. This genre bridges the commonality and understanding of who we are as human-beings. We will begin by looking at some classic tales from Greece, Rome, China, and other civilizations. After building an understanding of myths, folktales, legends and fables, students will write and illustrate their own stories. This course is perfect for the aspiring history buff or anyone looking to get a deeper cultural appreciation of countries all around the world!

About Online ExplorSchool

For Students In Grades 5 – 8

MITY’s Online ExplorSchool provides bright students with the opportunity to explore a topic of interest with similarly motivated peers. The goal is to keep students challenged and engaged as they build, create, and solve real world problems. Each class features a variety of activities that take students away from a screen as they use their hands to design and construct. Importantly, students also have opportunities to socialize with their peers through non-academic activities.
