Relief and Reductive Printmaking

Wednesdays, 5:00 – 6:30pm and Saturdays, 10:00 – 11:30am

Before the invention of the copy machine, printmaking was the method artists used to make multiple prints of an original artwork. It’s a fun and challenging combination of sculpture and drawing to create the final product on paper. Students will learn the basics of relief printmaking and finish the class by creating two designs – one for a single colored print and another design using the reductive method to get multiple layers!
