If you have ever wanted to try out acting and explore the magic of backstage, join us in “All the World’s a Stage!” We will start each class with a movement/vocal warm-up and explore improv and theatre games to build a class ensemble. Students will learn how to use flipgrid and Zoom to create individual scenes and a small group performance. In addition, our young actors will take on designer roles as they do projects involving props, costumes and scenic design.

*Please know – if you have stage-fright, this is a low-risk class where we will talk about how to have more confidence on the stage!

About Online Your Extraordinary Saturday (YES)

For Students In Grades 1 – 4

MITY’s online learning program for talented younger students features inquiry-based classes covering a range of high interest topics. Students are grouped by age (1st/2nd and 3rd/4th) to ensure the appropriate level of challenge. Each class contains four synchronous learning sessions, hands-on activities and ways to extend learning at home. In addition, one week of each session is used exclusively for social emotional development and fun community building activities.
