Applying to Your Extraordinary Summer

Eligibility

MITY seeks applicants who demonstrate both academic talent and a passion for learning.  Students must be in grades 1 – 4 during the 2023-2024 school year to be considered for admission.  Families submit the student’s most recent progress report; MITY does not use test scores to determine eligibility.  Students who participated in a 2023-2024 fall, winter, and/or spring session of MITY’s Saturday morning program do not need to submit a report card.

Deadline

There is no deadline for applying; however, classes fill fast, so we encourage parents to submit their applications as soon as possible.  Decisions are made on a rolling basis.

Application Process

  1. Complete the Online Application
  2. Submit Report Card (attach to application or email to info@mity.org).  We know that report cards for this age group take on many forms; please submit your student’s most recent comprehensive report.  If your child's school does not issue progress reports, please have their homeroom teacher complete this form. Note: 2023-2024 participants do not need to resubmit this documentation.
  3. Pay Deposit for Each Session OR Submit Financial Aid Form (see below).  Payment can be made when submitting the application, by using this link, or by sending a check payable to MITY to: 1600 Grand Avenue St. Paul MN, 55105.  Please write the student's name on the memo line.  Note: Students not accepted will receive a full refund.
  4. Acceptance Email from MITY.  Please allow two weeks for MITY to review your completed application.  See below for MITY's cancellation policy.
  5. Tuition Balance Due May 1.  Families will receive a statement via email.
