In this MITY class, we write, write, and write some more in our favorite genres and styles and are challenged to move outside of our comfort zones to create new possibilities. If you like creative writing either at MITY or in school – or just want to write to communicate your ideas – this class is for you! We also learn how to revise and peer edit, conference and collaborate to make our work polished for publication. Guest writers, editors, and creative artists are invited to show us how to think professionally about our craft. At the end of the session, we create and present several pieces for a MITY public reading, a printed/online workshop book, and learn how to contact contests and editors, agents and publishers for future submissions.
