Race and Gender in the 2020 Election

In this course, we will explore the events and issues that defined the 2020 election and its outcome. We will analyze civic participation from different perspectives: conservative Latin Americans, the emergence of the Native American voting bloc, and African Americans in Georgia and the South. Additionally, we will study intersectional issues such as gender and class. We will seek to understand the social consequences of the election and how the nation moves forward under the 46th President.
