Bacteria are sophisticated, highly adaptable organisms that can multiply at a rapid rate. In this lab-based course, students will explore the world of microbiology by using bacteria as models for all living organisms in regard to structure, physiology and reproduction. We will research different bacterial species, learn how to culture them, examine how they can be defeated, and much more. Students interested in the medical field, laboratory research and life sciences will enjoy this class!
