3, 2, 1… blast-off! In this thrilling course, students will learn how to build and launch their own rocket using materials commonly found in a recycling bin. Explore basic aerodynamics and see how rocket propulsion works while experimenting with multiple designs and materials. These low-cost rockets take the pressure off—you can build, test, and learn without fear of “getting it wrong.” The program includes a rocket launch session so you can watch your creation take flight within the guidelines of model rocketry. ($25 class fee)

A MITY Adventure Awaits
MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
