How can we use computer science for good? In this session, students will dive into the creative side of technology and explore its potential for positive impact. Through a collaborative design challenge, students will use Scratch to create projects that raise awareness and make a positive difference for causes they are passionate about. Students will brainstorm community wants and needs, plan and develop their Scratch projects, and showcase their progress to the class—all while developing new programming skills!

A MITY Adventure Awaits

MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
