In this exciting class, students will gain significant creative coding experience using block programming and a Micro:Bit computer. Students will strengthen their problem-solving skills as they engage in design thinking and consider user experience. They will also gain confidence in presenting and become more comfortable with the concepts of failure and perseverance, learning that if they continue to work through issues that arise, success will follow. Our hope is that this byte-sized challenge will inspire students to continue exploring technology for the rest of their lives.

For 1st – 4th Grade Students
A MITY Adventure Awaits
MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
