Have you ever wondered if you can trust your senses, or what ‘real’ really means?  Are you curious about who gets to decide what’s right and wrong and why?  Are you interested in understanding the difference between the brain and the mind?  If these and other puzzling quandaries intrigue you, join us in Philosophy!  In this class, you will explore important historical ideas from the main branches of philosophy and understand the unique problems and issues that have driven our history of ideas.  You will also apply what you learn to real life situations and pose relevant questions for further study.  This course will help to prepare you for the critical thinking needed in high school, college, and beyond.
