In this class, we’ll explore these and other challenges and discover ways to take action. From using scraps to build a windmill to turning plastic waste into useful products, we’ll dive into the importance of recycling, reusing, and reducing both locally and globally. Through hands-on activities, teamwork, and creative problem-solving, you’ll design a solution to an upcycling challenge, create a public service announcement (PSA) to inspire change, and more. A MITY Adventure Awaits
MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
