Can you imagine a tortoise and a hippopotamus becoming best friends? Or an elephant bonding with a dog, or even an orangutan and a dog forming a strong connection? In this class, we’ll explore heartwarming stories from sanctuaries around the world where different, sometimes endangered, species have formed powerful, unexpected bonds. Through these stories of survival, hope, and innovative animal care, students will learn about the incredible connections that can happen across species. You’ll also get the chance to design your own animal sanctuary proposal, promoting more of these amazing interspecies friendships!
