Beth Wakefield holds a B.S. and M. Ed. in Education from the University of Minnesota. She has been passionate about teaching neuroscience to children for decades. Beth studied Neuroscience at the University of MN through “Brain U”, a graduate course designed for educators. In collaboration with the University of MN Neuroscience Department, she has presented neuroscience workshops at National Science Teacher Association (NSTA) conferences, as well as neuroscience posters at International Society for Neuroscience (SFN) meetings. She has been joyfully employed as a Gifted Talent Development Specialist in Independent School District 196 since 1995. Beth loves traveling and connecting with people from different parts of the world.
