Whether you are an experienced printmaker or complete beginner, this course will be an exciting way to go beyond the basics! Block printing involves carving a stamp and printing it onto paper. This course will specifically focus on printing multicolor images. We will learn techniques such as rainbow rolls, reduction, and stenciling. For the final project, students will create a series of multicolor prints based on their own designs. Each student will receive a block printing kit for this class. You will have all the materials and skills needed to continue printing at home! ($50 course fee)
