This is a class for beginners who want to learn how the engineering design process works, as well as how to implement their ideas with 3D modeling. Students will practice the principles of design, learn about engineering manufacturing and get a chance to 3D print something they have designed. The majority of our time will focus on learning how to use 3D modeling software, but we will also have some fun “at home” design challenges and learn about how things work and how they are made. By the end of the class students will feel more empowered to take their ideas from dreams to reality!
