Things That Fly

What goes up, must come down…unless it’s flying.  This class explores aviation and the fascinating world of flight.  How do balloons, planes, rockets, and animals utilize similar and different principles to stay aloft?  Students will conduct scientific experiments, watch demonstrations, and build and test various aerial models.  Join us as we journey through the history of flight and learn the science behind what allows objects to fly through the air.
