Science Investigations

Are electric cars actually good for the environment?  Should families switch to solar power?  Why are we experiencing so many megafires?  What would happen if we all stopped eating meat?  What do food expiration dates really mean?  In this class, students will investigate these and many other questions pertaining to today’s environment.  You will learn to think critically about current issues and use the engineering design process to imagine, plan, and build innovative solutions.  Join us as we explore “real” versus “fake” meat, the design of climate-resilient buildings, wind turbines, and much more!
