Project Citizen: The Power of Me

In this class, students will look at the world around them and find ways to become empowered to make a difference.  We will define issues in our neighborhoods and students will pick an issue in their community that needs improvement.  We will examine what other communities with similar issues are doing, decide which solution would work best for OUR community and then identify who has the power to make that change happen.  Finally, we will pick which citizenship tool (letter writing, working with community leaders, education campaign, etc.) would work best to promote the change we are looking to make.  Join us to see how YOU can make a difference!
