Historical Inquiry and Debate

Are you interested in history?  Do you like debating?  In this class we will consider historical evidence in the form of maps, letters, paintings, diaries, official documents, and other sources to form arguments.  We will use Document Based Questions (DBQs), a tool utilized in high school Advanced Placement (AP) history courses, to develop our thinking and writing skills.  Join us as we explore interesting topics in U.S. and world history while cultivating lifetime skills in evidence-based argumentation.
