Katie is a high school social studies and AVID teacher at Eden Prairie High School. She earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a Masters in Teaching in Social Studies Education from Boston University. Prior to entering the classroom, Katie worked as a social worker, helping disabled adults and low income families find housing in the metro area. In her free time, she enjoys running marathons, knitting, and spending time with her nephews.
