Ian Witry

Ian (any pronouns) is a singer, pianist and musical theater educator from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They hold a B.A. degree from Macalester College, where they served as vocal director for the college’s production of the musical Hair in 2022. This will be Ian’s third year co-teaching Musical Theater at MITY. They have also directed music with TASU Theatre Co. and with Southwest High School Performing Arts in Minneapolis. Currently, they reside in St. Paul where they serve as a collaborative pianist for dance classes, as well as a professional singer for VocalEssence Ensemble Singers. Ian is also a freelance Spanish and Portuguese teacher and translator.
