Maggie Barajas

Maggie has been an elementary educator in Hopkins, Minnesota, for 12 years. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from DePaul University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Maggie currently serves as a peer coach in Hopkins Schools, where she supports educators in setting meaningful professional, instructional, and personal goals and in creating experiences to reach them. She is passionate about creating learning spaces where students feel confident, curious, and supported as they take on new challenges. Maggie loves helping students discover their interests and connecting learning to real‑world ideas and issues. Designing interdisciplinary, hands-on learning experiences is one of her favorite parts of teaching. A lifelong learner herself, Maggie brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a deep commitment to student growth to every learning environment she joins.
