The world is changing rapidly—what will our cities look like a century from now? Challenged with real issues such as overcrowding and climate change, students will use the engineering design process to create innovative solutions. You will imagine, draft, and build a model city one hundred years in the future using recycled materials. How will you generate clean water and renewable energy sources? What type of infrastructure and public spaces will you construct? Explore these and other questions as you design a city of 2125!

For 1st – 5th Grade Students
A New Adventure Every Weekend
MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 5th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom. Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting. While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
