Molly Andersen

Molly has been a Gifted and Talented teacher working with K-5 students in District 196 for over 30 years. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and her Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota. Molly believes students learn best by doing and is passionate about bringing creativity into and beyond the classroom. She has coached Destination Imagination for many years and leads the Student Council at her school, helping students develop leadership, teamwork, and confidence. Molly values hands-on learning, curiosity, and independent thinking, and she loves creating engaging experiences for her students. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, exploring new towns, and repurposing things for new uses.
