This course will provide an overview of the various approaches to psychology, including biological, cognitive, and sociocultural perspectives. Students will engage in discussions, activities, readings, and labs to grow their understanding of mental processes and behaviors. In addition to psychological science, students will gain insight into experimental design and research. Topics will include content typically covered in an introductory college psychology class, and students will work to find connections between psychological science and applications to their own lives.
