Are you a budding artist who loves to try new and interesting ways of expressing yourself? Have you ever looked at famous paintings from artists like Monet, Van Gogh, or Picasso and thought, “I would like to try that!” In this class, we will explore the works of these great painters and learn about their unique styles. We will then try our hand at their techniques as we make our own unique creations through drawing, painting, and pastels. No experience is necessary for this class all you need to bring is a willingness to embark on this great art adventure!

A New Adventure Every Weekend
MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 4th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom. Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting. While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
