Do you already know you love being an actor, using your body, voice and imagination to become any character? Or perhaps you suspect you could love being an actor and haven’t had much stage experience yet? Spend three dramatic mornings with us playing theatrical games and learning to rehearse with other actors. In addition, we will explore the technical design elements of stagecraft including costumes, props, lighting and scenery when we take a backstage tour of the on-site theater and create our own costumes and scenic designs. Come prepared to get loud, take creative risks and get your clothes dirty!

A New Adventure Every Weekend
MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 4th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom. Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting. While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
