This exciting class focuses on building robotic versions of different vehicles and vessels. Whether the mode of transportation has wings, wheels, or floats on water, students will have a blast creating and coding as they explore the basics of robotics. They will learn about a wide array of coding and STEAM concepts and use that knowledge to make their creations move. Finally, students will engage in math-based extension activities and use their creativity to overcome interesting challenges.

A New Adventure Every Weekend
MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 5th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom. Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting. While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
