Did you know that a majority of Americans have glossophobia, or a fear of public speaking, in some form or another? This fun and supportive class is designed to help students gain confidence speaking in front of others. You will learn the persuasive process and understand the art of connecting with others when speaking in public. Students who take this class will leave with the self-assurance to shine whenever they have to inform, persuade, or entertain others with a speech or presentation. It’s time to step up to the microphone!

A New Adventure Every Weekend
MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 5th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom. Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting. While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
