What really makes Hogwarts feel alive? Join us as we step inside the world of Harry Potter to explore how character, choice, and conflict drive magical stories. Students will use drama techniques to investigate Hogwarts houses, wizarding classes, spells, and moral dilemmas drawn from the Harry Potter universe. Through movement, improvisation, and ensemble scene work, students will create and perform original scenes set at Hogwarts, discovering how courage, loyalty, ambition, and curiosity shape both characters and stories. The course culminates in a short showcase of student-devised Hogwarts moments.

About Your Extraordinary Saturday (YES)

For 1st – 5th Grade Students

A New Adventure Every Weekend

MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 5th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom.  Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting.  While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
