And…Action!

Do you enjoy telling stories or pretending to be somebody else?  Have you ever wanted to be on stage?  Join us to learn more about performing and acting!  Young thespians will learn to use their Actor Tools – body, face, voice – throughout the session.  We will start each class with a movement/vocal warm-up and then explore improv and theater games to build a class ensemble.  This will lead us to create and perform a small group performance to share with families.  *Please know – if you have stage-fright, this is a low-risk class where we will talk about how to have more confidence on the stage!

About Your Extraordinary Saturday (YES)

For 1st – 4th Grade Students

A New Adventure Every Weekend

MITY's program for elementary students enables inquisitive, high achieving 1st - 4th grade students to continue learning outside of the traditional classroom.  Courses are intentionally designed to inspire inquiry, activate imaginations, and engage eager learners in hands on discovery that is not possible within a regular classroom setting.  While students are in class, parents are invited to listen to professional speakers on topics related to raising bright children, socialize with other parents, or visit a local coffee shop.
