Tessa McKeown

Tessa is a dedicated educational leader with over 20 years of experience as both a classroom teacher and a school administrator. She currently serves as the Upper Elementary Director at The Blake School in Minneapolis and has held various leadership roles, including Director of Curriculum and Instruction at the Mirman School for highly gifted learners in Los Angeles. Tessa holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and a Certificate in Differentiated Curriculum for Gifted Learners from the University of Southern California.

A passionate advocate for gifted education, Tessa has spent much of her career designing school-wide curriculum models for gifted students. She has presented at national conferences and facilitated professional development for schools on topics such as differentiation and enrichment education strategies. As a parent of two highly gifted children herself, Tessa brings a unique, empathetic perspective to her work, blending professional expertise in child development with a deep personal understanding of the needs of gifted learners.
