Samantha Boyd

Samantha holds a BA in Elementary Education and a 5-8 Mathematics license from Augsburg College, along with a Masters in Education from Hamline University and certificate of specialty in Gifted and Talented Education. Samantha grew up in a family of teachers and has spent her life being involved in the classroom. She has worked in a variety of schools and GT programs, including Capitol Hill GT Magnet in St. Paul, Parkview Elementary in Roseville, and Stillwater Middle School’s GT program, where she has been teaching accelerated high school math courses to students in 4th-8th grade for the last 11 years. Samantha is a mom to three amazing kids, an avid gardener, and a huge animal lover; just ask her about her zoo of animals at home! She is excited to join MITY and have the opportunity to work with gifted and talented kids to find, explore, and dive into their passions.
