Rachel McLaughlin

Rachel is currently the Gifted & Talented Services Coordinator in Inver Grove Heights, where she has worked for the past 10 years.  She previously taught second and third grade in the Atheneum Gifted Magnet Program in Inver Grove.  Prior to moving to Minnesota, she spent the first three years of her teaching career in Monterrey, Mexico, teaching 5th grade at the American School Foundation of Monterrey.  Rachel loves working with gifted students and learns so much from being around them!  She enjoys the passion and love of learning that they bring to the classroom.  Rachel has an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa.  She earned her Master’s Degree of Education with a certificate in Gifted Education from Hamline University.
