Intro To Kinesiology: The Physiology of Motion

How does your body move?  What’s inside a bone?  Do your bones tell a story?  Do bigger muscles mean stronger bones?  Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement.  It incorporates osteology (the study of bones) and myology (the study of the muscular system), and addresses anatomical, biomechanical, physiological, neuropsychological, and pathological principles of movement.  This course is all about labs – we will analyze x-rays, attempt kinesthetic exercises, examine bone diseases, and much more.  Are you ready to get moving and grooving?
