Whether you want to start a business, learn about innovation and management, or star on Shark Tank, being able to think like an entrepreneur is a valuable skill.  This course will take you behind the curtain and show you how businesses are started and what is needed to maintain them.  Topics will include budgeting/finance, laws and regulations, marketing, management, and identifying a market gap for a new product.  We will speak to real entrepreneurs, create a business plan, discuss current events, and run a simulated Shark Tank game to apply what you’ve learned.  At the end of the course students will have a better understanding of what it takes to innovate and get a new product or service to market in addition to being able to apply the entrepreneur’s mindset to other areas of their lives.
