Creating Cool Chemistry

In this class, students will explore the mysteries of chemistry by doing many experiments and other hands on activities.  Students will discover how the chemicals used on winter roads are used to make ice cream, transform milk into glue, and implode a pop can without even touching it!  You will eat marshmallows frozen in liquid nitrogen, blow up plastic bottles using dry ice, create a carbon snake from sugar, and much more. Students will improve their lab skills while having fun and observing curious and intriguing results.  Come discover concepts that will spark your interest in chemistry and change the way you look at the world around you.
