Are you curious about what kids just like you play with in other parts of the world? Are you interested in designing your own toy or game that showcases a unique culture, tradition, skill, or style of play? After exploring a variety of amusements from different countries, such as Japan’s Kendama, India’s Carrom, Russia’s Matryoshka dolls, China’s Diabolo, Norway’s Birch Bark whistle, and many others, students will brainstorm and create their own one-of-a-kind toy or game. We will develop prototypes, test our creations to check for functionality and marketability, and use our imaginations to revise and perfect our inventions.

A MITY Adventure Awaits
MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
