This class focuses on building robotic creations that make our everyday lives more fun or interesting. Whether it’s an invention to better enjoy viewing the night sky or a creation to help deal with excess garbage, students will have a blast working with their peers as they discover STEAM concepts and explore the basics of robotics. You will learn the basics of coding and use that knowledge, along with math-based extensions, to make your robots move through creative challenges. ($25 class fee)

A MITY Adventure Awaits
MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
