Step into a world where numbers and creativity collide! In this hands-on class, students will explore how artists throughout history have used mathematical ideas to create amazing works. From perspective and three-dimensional art to tessellations, patterns, and the Fibonacci spiral, we will learn how math can shape beauty and creativity. Students will have the opportunity to design and create their own math-inspired art projects, building both artistic skills and mathematical reasoning. Note: Families are encouraged to send a paint shirt with their student.

A MITY Adventure Awaits
MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
