This dynamic class blends science, design thinking, and theater arts to explore how garden ecosystems work. Students will investigate plants, animals, weather, and habitats and then use movement, improvisation, and creative storytelling to bring these systems to life onstage. We will apply engineering thinking to solve ecosystem challenges, use drama techniques to embody organisms and natural forces, and collaboratively design an evolving theatrical “garden world” that models real scientific ideas. By the end of the class, students will have a better understanding of complex systems through hands-on exploration and dramatic play.
