What if a fairy tale character had to defend their actions in court? In this class, students will revisit well-known stories like The Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and Little Red Riding Hood while imagining what would happen if the characters faced a trial. Students will learn basic courtroom vocabulary, examine the events of each story, and consider different perspectives. They will take on roles such as lawyers, witnesses, judges, or jurors and work together to prepare arguments and ask questions. The class will end with a fun mock trial where the jury weighs the evidence and decides the final verdict.
