Have you ever wondered what it takes to be an astronaut? What do astronauts do each day? How do they live in space? In this class, students will step into the shoes of a NASA astronaut and explore the exciting world of space exploration. Learn about the history of space travel, life aboard the International Space Station (ISS), and upcoming missions to the stars. We will play games and engage in activities built around being an astronaut candidate. Find out if you have what it takes to be an astronaut when you grow up!

A MITY Adventure Awaits
MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
