    Period 3

  • Grade Level

    Grades 3-4

Do you enjoy reading comics and graphic novels? In this class, students will learn how to write comic scripts and discover how storytelling in comics is different from writing a traditional book. We’ll explore the history of comic books and compare international styles like Manga and Manhwa with American comics. Students will also create character reference sheets to bring their ideas to life and practice turning their stories into engaging visual narratives. By the end of the week, students will have the tools to craft their very own comic adventure!
