Do you like eating s’mores, catching frogs and camping under the stars? This class will help you capture the fun of being in the great outdoors. You will learn how to use brushstrokes to show a rushing river and shadows to make a forest scene more three-dimensional. You will use paint, paper and weaving to create texture and practice using contrast to make objects stand out. Together we will recreate the joy of camping through art!

A MITY Adventure Awaits
MITY’s summer program for elementary students enables curious, high achieving students to continue their learning in a fun environment. Classes are intentionally designed to spark curiosity and expose students to new ways of thinking. Advanced learners also have the opportunity to socialize and play games with peers who share their passion for learning. Students can attend full day or half day, and extended care is available for families who need it.
