Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth (MITY) hires roughly 100 teachers, coordinators, teaching assistants, dorm supervisors, and other staff each year to support its mission of inspiring and challenging intellectually curious students to pursue their passions within a diverse, inclusive community and empowering them by building skills and relationships for lifelong success. Applicants should have a passion for working with students from all backgrounds.
Teachers
MITY is always seeking high-quality educators for its programs. Candidates must have experience working with gifted or advanced students, be open to and supportive of all forms of diversity and enjoy working with young people. Applicants should be strong communicators, creative and able to work independently.

Dorm Supervisors
MITY is currently hiring dorm supervisors for Session A, June 15 - 27, 2025. MITY's Expand Your Mind program brings advanced students in grades 8 - 11 to campus from across Minnesota and beyond. Dorm staff are in charge of students from 4 PM onwards Mon - Fri as well as over the weekend. Go on field trips, facilitate on-campus activities, and generally ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all. Applicants must have completed at least one year of college.
